PRICE OF BREAD
STEPS AGAINST INCREASE NEW SOUTH WALES PREMIER SYDNEY. Jan. 3 The Premier of New South Wales, Mr. B. S. Stevens, stated to-day that if the master bakers insist upon increasing the price of bread when the flour tax comes into operation the State Government will fix the price by proclamation.
The Cabinet has given the Premier power to take any action he may think necessary.
