WOMAN IN HOSPITAL

OPOTIKI, Thursday

A broken collarbone was suffered by Mrs. H. Tocker, of Waimana Gorge, when a car driven by her husband was involved in a collision with a car driven by Mr. T. Patterson, of Wanganui, and skidded down a bank. Other passengers in Mr. Tocker's car escaped injury, but tho vehicle was badly damaged. The occupants of Mr. Patterson's car were unhurt. Mrs. Tocker was admitted to the Whakatano Hospital.
