AUCKLAND'S GOOD FORTUNE DETAILS FOR 21 YEARS Auckland is generally favoured with fine weather for Christmas holidays, and the records of the past 21 years show that the summer conditions of the last two days are what can usually be expected. Since 1914 there have "been nine Christmas Days and 11 Boxing Days classed officially as fine, while really bad weather has been experienced only on six Christmas Days and three Boxing Days.
