MONTEREY'S SAILING TIME In order to allow the team of American professional golfers who have been visiting Australia to take part in matches at Titirnngi, the Matson liner Monterey will now sail for Los Angeles and San Francisco, via Island ports, at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, instead of 1 p.m. The vessel is due at Auckland from Sydney on Tuesday morning.

MAHANA SAILED FOR OPUA The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana sailed last evening for Opua to continue loading for London, Liverpool and Glasgow. Owing to the railway line being damaged by floods, she will possibly not start loading until to-morrow. The vessel will complete her cargo at Napier and Wellington. PORT FAIRY LOADING The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor-ahip Port Fairy arrived from Lyttelton yesterday morning and berthed at Queen'B Wharf to continue loading. Sho will leave on Monday for Waikokopu, New Plymouth, Wellington and Port Chalmers. The vessel will sail for London, via Capo Horn and Dakar-, on January 8. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, are the local agents. CORNWALL ARRIVED The Cornwall arrived last evening from Opua. where she was unable to load owing to the flooding of the line from the Moerewa freezing works. She berthed at King's Wharf to complete loading for London and West Coast ports of the United Kingdom. She i, expected to sail for London, via Panama, on Thursday next.

ROUGH SEAS ON MANUKAU BAB Owing to rough seas on the Manukau bar yesterday the departure of the Hokianga for Hokianga was postponed until to-day. The Clansman sailed for Hokianga and the Hauturu for New Plymouth and Wanganui late last night, but both vessels intended to remain inßide the Manukau Heads until the morning.
