TENNIS ON SUNDAYS
REQUEST FROM THAMES CLUB [bt TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] THAMES, "Wednesday The Thames Borough Advisory Committee, at its meeting this afternoon, received a letter from the Public Service Tennis Club asking for permission to play tennis on the public park, Thames, on Sundays. The letter was referred to the special committee which had already recommended the refusal of the request. The Thames Ministers' Association wrote objecting to Sunday tennis.
