The foundation-stone will be laid by the Maori "King," Koroki, and a large attendance of Europeans and Maoris is expected. In addition to the "king," a notable Waikato chief, Tarapipipi Taingakawa, grandson of Tami Hana te Waharoa, is expected, and Princess Te Puea has signified her intention of being present.
