AMALGAMATION ADVOCATED [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] GISBORXE. Sun'laj The Poverty Bay provincial executive of the Farmers' Union decided yesterday to urge the amalgamation of county councils and, as a first step, for the Main Highways Board to take control of all main and secondary highways.
