RENOWN CLUB DANCE The first annual dance of the Renown Golf Club held in the Rotongaro Hall on Saturday evening proved one of the most popular social functions h'ild in the district this season. About 200 nieinhers and friends were present to enjoy an excellent dance programme, which was directed by Messrs. R. Garrick and A. Wilson. The vice-president, Mr. G. Jack, welcomed members and visitors and referred to the successful progress the club had made since its formation early in the year. During the evening the trophies were presented to members successful in the club competitions. Supper was served under the direction of a ladies' committee, which comprised Mrs. A. McKinnon, Mrs. W. Wilson, Miss N. Bell, Miss J, McKinnon, Miss G. Tapp and Miss P. Stevens.
