CROQUET* OPENING In spite of showery weather the official opening of the Taupiri Croquet Club took place on Saturday, the club's president, Mrs. F. R. Catley, playing the first ball. Mrs. Rowe (Ngaruawahia) won the A progressive competition, Mrs. Harris (Taniwha) the B progressive, Mrs. Courtney (Ngaruawahia) the target croquet, and Mrs. Morwood (Glen Massey) ringing the bell. Among the ladies present were: Mrs. E. Smith, Mrs. Meek, Mrs. F. Harris, Mrs. Rowe, Mrs. Courteney. Mrs. Hilcoat, Mrs. Angley, Mrs. G. Green, Mrs. G. Boot, Mrs. W. Paterson, Mrs. Wigzell, Mrs. J.
