DEATH OF TRAINER
Tf. PRITCHARD, OF TRENTHAM COLLAPSE AT COURSE [by telegraph—own correspondent] WELLINGTON, Sunday The well-known Trentham trainer T. Pritchard, one of three brothers all connected with the sport, collapsed on* the Irentham course at the races oji Saturday, He was conveyed to hospital, where he died later. Mr. Pritchard was in his early days a successful rider, and after training for some time in the Wairarapa, lit} went to Trentham, where he had charge of Autopay when hj«! won the Stewards' Handicap at Riccarton and the Epsom Handicap at Randwick.
