BANDITS IN CUBA
TREASURY RGBEIED OFFICIALS LOCKED IN SAFE VANCOUVER, Oct. 18 A message from Havana, Cuba, states that four men, airmed with machine-guns, rifled the City Hall Treasury t'D-day and escaped with 150,000 dollars. The bandits took only United States currency and left untouched in the vaults more than 1,000,000 dollars in silver coins. The treasurer and his assistants were locked in a safe.
