/jELLICOE HANDICAP CONTEST REVIEW OF THE PROSPECTS The Auckland '.[rotting Club's Spring Meeting will bo opened to-day at Alexandra Park, Epsom. There are good fields engaged and some splendid contests should, be witnessed. Special interest is lent to the principal races, the Jellicoo Handicap and the Electric Handicap, by the presence of the New Zealand Trotting Cup candidate Impromptu, while in addition several -'Auckland Roystl Trotting Cup eligibles and some with prospects of qualifying are also engaged. If thero is no further rain the track should be in fair order.
