LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
A meeting of the Onehunga branch of the League of Mothers, held on Thursday afternoon, was largely attended by members and friends. Mrs. W. J. Jordan presided. An interesting address was given by Dr. Elizabeth Cole from the quotations: —"The beauty of the house is order,' 3 "The blessing of the house is contentment," "The glory of the house is hospitality" and "The crown of the house is Godliness." Vocal items were rendered by Mrs. J. C. Sibbin, and humorous recitations by Mrs. Simpson were also appreciated.
