AUCKLAND FRENCH CLUB
An enjoyable bridge evening was held by membefcs and friends of the Auckland French Club in the rooms of the Overseas League on Thursday. Bowls of arum lilies and .Iceland poppies gave a bright note to the rooms. The guests were received by Mi's- G. S. Coldham, who wore a frock of almond green embossed velvet. Prizes were won by Mrs. G. H. Farquharson, Miss E. Craston and Miss K. Shroff. The prize donated by Mrs. Coldham was won by Mrs. Pacey. Among the guests were: —Madame Foley, Mrs. G. Wright, Mrs. E.
