CELEBRATIONS NEXT WEEK ROUND OF ENTERTAINMENT £kbom oitr owx correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Friday The Morrinsville jubilee celebrations vill commence next Thursday morning, vhen the new municipal chambers in Canada Street will be officially opened by* Mr. F. Lye, M.P. A reunion of old identities will take place in the afternoon, and they will be the guests of the town at dinner. A jubilee ball mill be held in the evening. Further entertainment for the old people will be provided on Friday, when they will be conducted on a motor tour of the district. Thames Street, the main thoroughfare, will be closed lo traffic on Friday evening, when an open-air gala will be held. Children will parade in fancy-dress, and there will be a programme, of festivity. A sports meeting, preceded ,by a procession, has been arranged to take place in the recreation ground on Saturdav afternoon. The celebrations will concl#de on the following day with a combined thanksgiving service in the Strand Theatre.
