FORMER OFFICIALS' ACTS PROCEEDINGS IN TORONTO (Received October 17, 7,5 p.m.) TORONTO, Oct. 16 Mr. T. Stewart Lyon, chairman of the Ontario Hydro-Electric Power Commission, stated to-day that the Commissioners had adopted a resolution that action be taken against Messrs. Arthur Meighen and T. A. Maguire, former Commissioners, and Messrs. F. A Gaby and I. B. Lucas, former officials, for the return of money alleged to have beqn illegally diverted from the funds of-the Commission. The text of documents found in the Commission's files, Mr. Lyon said, revealed that the former Commission hired detectives to "get something on the Liberal Party of Ontario." The expenses of the detectives and their fees, lie said, totalled 4300 dollars*
