PHILIP HARGRAVE SEASON
OPENING ON SATURDAY The first of four concerts by the youthful Australian pianist, Philip Hargrave, under ihe direction of J. and N. Tait, will be given at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday night. This 12-year-old musician has just completed a remarkably successful tour of Australia," where he has been acclaimed as one of the most promising players heard for many years. In addition to his undoubted genius, the boy is said to possess a charming and unaffected manner, which captivates his audiences. The opening programme will include the works of such masters at Beethoven, Chopin, Bach and Schubert. The assisting artist is Mr. J. Alexander Browne, the noted Australian baritone. Booking arrangements are advertised.
