CLUBS* OFFICIAL OPENINGS | FUNCTION AT JELLICOE PARK The Jellicoe Park Tennis Club's season was officially opened on Saturday, when a large number of members and visitors was present. The president, Mr. L. Butterworth, welcomed the visitors and called on Mr. J. Edwards, a member of the Manurewa Town Board and one of the founders of the club, to ofhciallv open the courts on behalf of the patron, Mr. J. N. Massey, M.P., who was unable to be present. CLUB The W.Y.M.I. Tennis Club was favoured with excellent weather last Saturday, when the courts were officially opened by the president, the Rev. "W. "Walker, before an attendance of over 70 members and friends. A progressive tournament waß held, the winners being Miss W. Tinsley and A. Lowden.
