BITTEN BY A DOG
SMALL BOY ATTACKED INCIDENT IN CITY STREET [BY TELEGRAPH —rRESS ASSOCIATION J CHRISTCHURCH, Monday A six-year-old boy, Ivan Pope, was bitten four times on the arm and once on the leg by a dog while he was playing with some other children in Burke Street, Sydenham, last evening. Two dogs approached the children and one of them attacked Ivan Pope, biting him. As he turned to run away the dog attacked him again aud bit him in the leg. Some neighbours were attracted by the boy's shouts and chased the dogs away. The injured boy was on the point of falling as the dogs were driven off. He was taken to hospital and treated with anti-toxin.
