Some of tho local potatoes which aro now coming on the market require picking over and this further reduces tho return. The price locally shows 110 alteration from tho mid-week, £2 5s a ton f.0.b., sacks included, and £L 5s 011 trucks, and merchants aro not keen Fowl feed is unchanged at 3s 9d a bushel, f.0.b., sacks extras, and oats at 2s 7*d to 2o 8d a bushel for A grade Cartons, Lyttolton; Southern ports a halfpenny lower. Thero is no change in tho value of small seeds. BRITISH WAR LOAN British Wireless ItUGBI, Oct. 5 War loan, 3} per cent, is quoted to-day at £lO5 7s 6d, compared, with £lO5 I.os yesterday. NEW PUBLIC COMPANY The following public company has been registered in Auckland: Multichromo (NX), Limited, to enter into, an agreement with Multichrome Press Equipment, Limited, press equipment manufacturers, by the payment of 9300 shares in the company and to carry on business as printers, etc. Capital £17,000 in shares of £1 each.
