FALL ANNOUNCED A CRISIS IMMINENT SMUGGLING OF ARMS By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright MADRID, Oct. 1 After months of precarious -existence, supported by 115 Catholic deputies, the Spanish Government resigned this evening. The Primo Minister, Senor Samper, amid uproar from the Socialists, detailed in Parliament the Government's handling of the recent problems. Then the Catholic leader, Senor Robles, fiercely accused the Government of bungling tho Catalan and Basque problems. Senor Samper's call for tho views of other parties \£as received in silence. Thereupon he sent the Cabinet's resignation to the President, Don Alcala Zamora. The feeling prevails that a crisis is imminent throughout Spain. There are frequent allegations that the Government's opponents are smuggling arms.
