ADVERTISING TALKS DESIRE FOR REDUCTION __ * (Received October 2. 10.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. Oct. 2 Addressing the annual conference of the Australian Federation of Broadcasting Stations to-day, Mr. R. A. Parkhill, Postmaster-General, expressed the hope that an honest attempt wouki be made to reduce the volume of advertising talk from B class stations. He said it would be a fine thing, too, if all advertising announcements were eliminated from Sunday programmes.
