THEFT AT GOLF CLUB
HANDBAG CONTAINING £6 WOMAN MEMBER'S LOSS The theft of a handbag; containing £6 in notes was committed at tie clubhouse of the Maungakie.kie Golf Club between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. yesterday. The bag had been placed in a looter by a woman member before she went out to play. When she returned, sb.e found that the bag had been stolen. The screws holding the hasp had bean removed, thus making the padlock a? the locker ineffective.
