BAROSCOPE TAKES CUP TWO LARGE DIVIDENDS MUNGACRE AND RUBY METEOR Interesting racing was witnessed at the opening of the Taumarunui Racing Club's meeting at Paeroa on Saturday. Fine weather attracted a eood attendance a.nd totalisator investments, under tho win and place system, amounted to £10,988, compared with £8356 0:11 the first day, Thursday, last year, and £10,750 on the second day, Saturday. Ruby Meteor, winner of th,e Steeplechase Handicap, and Muncacre. winner of the Hack Handicap, paid the largest dividends of the day, running into double figures.
