NEW ASSOCIATION FORMED WESTERN BAY OF PLENTY [by telegraph OWN" correspondent] TAURANGA, Wednesday A meeting of 20 delegates from eight cricket clubs in the Ti.uranga and Te Puke districts was held in Tauranga last night. It was unanimously decided that a Western Bay of Plenty Cricket Association should be formed, embracing all the districts in Tauranga County, and % committee comprising Messrs. C. Montgomery, S. R. K*ndell and A. E. Stephens was appointed to draft a constitution for submission to a meeting of delegates on October 6. It waa also decided to form a Tauranga-Te Puke sub-Association. The following officer! were elected:—Patron, Mr. C. Baker: prisaident, Mr. C. Montgomery; vice-president, Mr. A. E. Stephens; committee, Messrs. S. R, Randell. H. Jeffery and C. Dare; (electors, Messrs. C. Montgomery and A. II." Stephens; secretary and treasurer. Mr. C. Walker-* auditor, Mr. E. W. Austin.

PUKEKOHE ASSOCIATION [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Wednesday Delegates from the ]?ukekohe, Maukti and Waiau Pa Clubs attended the annual meeting of the Pukekohe Cricket Association last evening, when the patron, Mr. James Roulston, presided. Officers were elected a* follows:—Patron. Mr. Roulston; president. Mr. H. Pleydell; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Finlay (Patumahoe). M. Brooke (Karxka), C. K. Lawrie (Pukekohe), A. V. Fox (Pukekohe), R. Schlaepfer (Paerata), J. Henry (Patuxnahoe), R. Schofield (Waiau Pa), and Dr. C. £. Howden (Waiuku) ;• secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. M. Rose; auditor, Mr. A. V. Fox; selector. Mr. Rose; emergency committee, Messrs. H. Pleydell, C. Lawrie, C. Goldsworthy snd the secretary. It was decided to commence the competition on October 20. Two entries were received from Pukekohe, one «ach from ' Mauku, Waiau Pa and Waiuku, and it ie expected that the Tuakau Club will enter this year, making six teams. Application ia to be made for affiliation to the Aucklsnd .
