GLASS FOR DECORATION
Prettily coloured, iridescent glass balls are a new idea for novel and charming modern table decoration when arranged in a bowl, giving a pleasing effect of fairy-like soap bubbles. The decorative possibilities of coloured glass is seen to advantage in some of the newest lampshades, which are inset with oddly-shaped pieces of van-coloured glass and finished with a gay sjilk tassel. An old-fashioned fairy light of round red, blue and green glass discs, the ai.se of a shilling, also makes a quaint lampshade, throwing a fascinating, prismatic pattern on the walls and ceiling.
