REMUERA CROQUET CLUB
The final of the series of bridge afternoons in connection with the Remuera Croquet Club was held in the bowlers' pavilion on Thursday. The president, Mrs. E. E. Daniels, welcomed members and friends. The prizewinners were: —Mrs. West, top score, Mrs. Wallace, lowest score, and Mrs. Short, hidden number. Among those present were:—Mesdames Daniels, Hanna, Jones, Lowe, Crawford, Gill, Bray, Wallace, Patterson. Kirk wood, Vella, Craig, Frith, Nutter, Smythe, Coltman, Beckerleg, Middlebrook, Hamblin, Mahoney, Graham, Sheppard, Ellerbeck, Coutts, Morey-Bell, Brabant, West, Jobson, Campbell, Shaw, Watts, Allan, Chapman, Short, Bassett, Henderson, Templer, Willcocks, Reid, Blenkinsop, Cross. Burrett. Norton, Lusher, Harrison, Wooller, Davis, the Misses Buckle, Sloman, Skeet and Stevenson.
