SERVICE PRESENTATIONS [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] " OPOTIKI. Friday
The annual social of the Opotiki Fir# Brigade was presided over by th* Mayor, Mr. G. S. Moodie. Members of the Fire Board were present, besidei members of all the local bodies. Presentations were made to members of the brigade as follows: —Three-year service certificates, Fireman C. L. Burton and ex-Fireman D. Stewart; fiveyear medals, Firemen G. Peagram, D. B. Miller and E. Webb; two-year bars, Deputy-Superintendent A. E. Reece, completing 21 years, Foreman T. \Vebb, completing nine years, and Superintendent J. Shaw, seven years.
