WOMEN'S GAMES
FOREIGN COMPETITORS SEX t)F SOME QUESTIONED CAPETOWN. Sept. 19 Allegations that some of the foreign athletes who took part in the Women's World Games at White City, London, recently were of the male sex, are made by Mr. B. C. Sims, manager of the South African Empire Games team, in a report to the South African Olympic-British Empire Games Association. " The class of person who represented foreign countries at these Games is, to say the least, most peculiar," says Mr. Sims. " From my personal observations quite a number of the outstanding foreign athletes shaved, had very deep voices and gave the impression of being of the male sex."
