TRAGIC CAPSIZE
CHINESE NAVAL LAUNCH SIXTY MEN MISSING SHANGHAI, Sept. 19 Sixty men are missing as the result of the capsizing of a Chinese naval launch after it had left Wei-hai-wei Island for the mainland. The vessel, which was overloaded, had scarcely left the jetty with 200 Chinese naval ratings when it capsized.
The crew of a British gunboat succeeded in rescuing many survivors.
