OTAHUHU TENNIS DANCE
TROPHIES PRESENTED Over 200 members and friends of the Otahuhu Lawn Tennis Club attended the annual dance and presentation of trophies in the Public Hall, Otahuhu, on Tuesday evening. The decorative scheme of streamers, greenery and flowers featured the club colours of green and gold. The guests were welcomed by the club president, Mr. G. Arkinstall, who also presented the trophies won last season. A ladies' committee assisting in the function comprised:—Mrs. Arkinstall, who wore a gown of floral ninon; Mrs. N. Walters, black marocain; Mrs. R. A. Archibald, green georgette; Mrs. E. Elliott, green floral georgette; Mrs. W. J. Dinnison, black georgette; Mrs. A. Amodeo, cream lace; Mrs. B. Pinhey, lemon organdie; and Miss E. Whiteley, floral georgette. Music was provided by the Blind Institute Orchestra. Among those present were: —Mrs. H. T. Clements, Mrs. J. O'Hara, Mrs. F. Arnold, Mrs. W. Best, Mrs. T. Langton, Airs. A. Cox, Mrs. C. J. Langton, Mrs. J. Parry, Mrs. H. McDell, Mrs. A. Tetley, Mrs. Brown and Misses B. Elliott, R. Jenkins, L. Grey, M. A. Lippiatt, C.
