BRIDGE EVENING
A very enjoyable bridge party was given last evening by the Auckland Business and Professional Women's Round Table Club in the rooms of the National Council of Women in Victoria Street. Bowls of Iceland poppies, yellow jasmine and daffodils lent a cheery appearance to the room. The members and guests were welcomed by the president, Miss I. Tanner, and play was continued until a late hour when supper was served by the committee. The players were:—Mesdames J. Colthurst, Witherill, Fowler, Tanner, Misses L. Langsford, Kay Collins, Eileen Hemuß, D. Marmont, E. Strong, Anne Wiltshire, M. Heighway, M. Jenkin, A. Jenkin, R. Gentles, R. Macaulay, Una Dawson, Pixie Home, Kitty Ball, V. C. Torckler, I). Andrews, E. Bradley, Amy Railev, V. Lee Shea. E. Coleman, Ruby Simpson, A. Muir. M. ' Muir, Messrs. G. Moody, S. J. Wild, Colonel Wild, J. Colthurst, Savage, E. Clark, J. Stewart, Stan Sheppard and Cooper. The winner of the hidden number for bridge was Mrs. J. Colthurst. *
