MOUNT EDEN TOURNAMENT Following is the draw for the tournament to be held to-morrow and the following Saturday by the Mount Eden Bowling Club, play commencing at 1.30 tf.m.:— Section A.—Baker. SOUTH AUCKLAND CENTRE [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Thursday The executive of the South Auckland Bowling Centre met yesterday and allocated dates for a number of tournaments to bo held during the coming season. After considerable discussion it was decided to hold the centre tourney on January 28, 29 and 30. A touring party from the North Auckland Centre is to visit South Auckland earlv next year, and the executive suggested that the visit should extend from February 17 to February 26, „ ~ The date for the Hardley Shield tournament at Te Aroha was fixed for February 16. In March a knock-out tourney will, be held to decide the champion of champions for the centre's district. Other dates for club tournaments were allocated as follows:—Te Poi,..Labour Day: Frankton. November 7: Claudelands, November 28; Te Aroha full-rink tourney, January 1 and 2; Te Aroha pairs tourney, January 3 and 4: Hamilton and Claudelands Clubs combined tourney. January 1 and 2. The date of the Frankton pairs tournament was left in the hands of th<> president.
