CONTROL OF DEPARTMENT HOTEL PROPRIETORS' VIEWS [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] ROTORUA, 'Wednesday A meeting of Rotorua private hotel proprietors was held last evening to consider the report of their delegate at the recent conference in Wellington to consider the control of the tourist business. The meeting agreed that it was not in the best interests of private hotels to have the Tourist Department under the control of a board separate from the public service, and advocated the establishment of an advisory board with the Minister in charge of® the Tourist and Publicity Departments as chairman.
