LOS ANGELES TOURNEY FURTHER PLAY IN SINGLES (Received September 19, 7.5 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, Sept. 18 In the Pacific South-West lawn tennis championships to-day the men's singles resulted as follows:—Kirby defeated Patterson (Los Angeles), B—6, 12—10; Fred Perry defeated Seward (Stanford University), 6 —l, 6 —2; Herrington defeated Wilde, 9—ll, 6—l, 6—l; J. Miliman (California) defeated Allison, B—lo,8 —10, B—6,8 —6, 6 —4. In the women's singles Miss Stammers defeated Miss Dorothy Bundy (Santa Monica), 6 —2, 2 —6, 12 —10; Miss Nuthall defeated Miss Ruby Bishop (Pasadena), I—6,1 —6, 6 —2, 6—3.
