DECREASE* IN REVENUE EXPENDITURE LARGER (Received September 19, 7.15 p.m.) British Wireless . RUGBY. Sept. 18 The Exchequer returns for the past week show that during the current financial year the total of ordinary revenue, exclusive of self-balancing revenue, amounted on September 15 to £255,468,998. This was £2,223,213 less than the amount collected at September 16 last year.
Expenditure in the same period, exclusive of self-balancing itema, totalled £310,873,549. This exceeded the amount expended at the corresponding date last year by £3,428,277.
