AUSTRALIAN TEAM'S VISIT ARRANGEMENT OF MATCHES The itinerary of the Western Shihtifbs team from Sydney was received from the New Zealand Rugby League at last evening's meeting of the; Auckland League. The chairman, Mr. 6. Grey Campbell, said he had conferred with the senior clubs concerned in reference to special training arrangements required by the New Zealand League.

The chairman said the question of the Auckland League giving the New Zealand League the use of Carlaw Park for Saturday, September 22, which date was set aside for the champion of champions game between Richmond and Newton, was satisfactorily arranged.' The olubs concerned will also benefit financially as the result of the postponement of the fixture. The matches to be played in Auckland by the Western Suburbs team arc as follows:—Saturday next, v. Mariat; Wednesday next, v. Newton; September 29, v. Richmond.

The Referees' Association -wrote pointing out that chairs conveying injured people watching matches between the two playing grounds at Carlaw Park were a menace to players, and accidents were possible. ' The Ponsonby Club was granted permission to travel to Huntly on Saturday next. Mr. S. Rickarda was appointed manager of the Tamaki Maori team to visit New Plymouth on Saturday. Mr. E. K. Asher is to represent the Auckland League. The Auckland Athletics Sports Club was granted permission to use Carlaw Park on Thursday evenings after the end of the football season.
