APPEAL LODGED
MEETING WITHOUT PERMIT "I understand that an appeal has been lodged against a conviction based on the same by-law," said Inspector Edwardß in the Police Court yesterday when James Henry Edwards and Roderick F. Rowlands appeared on a charge of holding a meeting in Victoria Park on Sunday, August 28, without a permit from the Auckland City Council. Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., said that in ffie circumstances he would adjourn the two cases sine die.
