COMMITTEE IN HAMILTON ELECTION OF OFFICERS [fkom ors OWN correspondent] HA HILTON.. Wednesday There was an attendance of nearly 100 members of the Automobile Asstf»' ciation, Auckland, at the annual meeting of the association's Hamilton ad| visory committee this evening. Mr. K. Thomas, president of the committee, presided.
The president of the association, Mr. A. Grayson, eight members of the council, the secretary, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, and the touring manager, Mr. R. E. Champtaloup, were present. Recent developments with reference "to the association were discussed by Mr.' Grayson. He said that insurance premiums on motor-cars had been greatly reduued, and that a Dominion-wide free garage service for emergency repairs:'had been organised.
Other members of the council also addressed the meeting. The annual report, a summary of which has been published in the Hebam), was adopted. Officers were elected as follows. -- President,. Mr. E. R. Roskruge; committee, Messrs. E. N. Masters, W. Y. Kirkman, E. Thomas, C. H. C. Erson» P. Best and T. R. Drummond.
