COMMERCE STUDENTS
ELECTION OF OFFICERS About 20 members of the Auckland University College Commerce Students' Society attended the annual meeting last night. The president, Mr. L. W. Holt, presided. A small credit balance was shown. It was stated that the committee, foreseeing a reduction in the amount of the grnnt from the Students' Association for the year, took steps to curtail expenditure wherever possible. The following officers were elected: — President, Mr. L. W. Holt; vice-presi-dents, Professor H. Belshaw, Dr. E. P. Neale, Mr. A. M. Seaman; hon. treasurer, Mr. C. D. Robinson; hon. auditor, Mr. B. C. Bell; executive, Miss B. N. Abel, Messrs. A. S. Broun, K. F. Carnach'an, J. B. Hardcastle, T. Hughes, R. J. B. Peacocke; hon. secretary, Mr. I. E. McChesney.
