MELBOURNE CENTENARY
PROPOSED EXPENDITURE
MELBOURNE. Sept. 14 The chairman of the finance committee of the Centenary Council, Mr. Nettlefold, stated to-day that the proposed gross expenditure of the council on the celebrations was £102,935, and the estimated return £19,250.
