PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS
INGREASE IN LONDON (Received September 14, 5.45 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Sept. 13 The Minister of Transport, Mr. L. Hore-Belisha, has decided to increase the number of pedestrian crossings in London as one measure for reducing the risk of street accidents. At present there are 2000 of these crossings in the metropolitan area and these are to bo increased to 10,000.
