"SAVE THE BLONDES!"
A survey of 302,000 American girls resulted in the discovery that third and fourth generation Americans are distinctly darker than their forebears — the blonde is disappearing. Manufacturers of hair bleaches and hair dyes will be elated at this news, but for those who insist upon the crown of golden hair, the prospect is certainly serious. It is quite possible that a " Save Our Blondes " movement soon will be organised, which will receive the hearty endorsement of men throughout the nation, unless gentlemen do not subscribe to the principles of preferring blondes.
