Sir Joseph Hewitt, the young East Yorkshire baronet, who lives at Gristhorpe, near Filey, Yorkshire, caught the first tunny fish of the season at Scarborough last month. It weighed 6301b., and gave him a terrific struggle for an hour and a»balf. Sir Joseph, who was accompanied by his sister, was making his third trip in search of tunny when, about ninety miles off Scarborough, he ran into a big school of them.
