The engagement is announced between Mavis Ysabel, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Coates, Grafton, and Gordon William, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Ross, Mangapehi.
Ihe engagement is announced of Ivy Charlotte, voungest daughter of Mrs. Isabella Robinson, of Waiotahi Road, Thames, and the late Mr. James Robinson, of Newcastle-on-Tyne, England, to Mervyn Esmond, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. C Potter, Netherton, Hauraki Plains.
