STAFF BALL HELD
The first annual ball of E. Bridgens and Company, Ltd., was held in the Peter Pan Cabaret on Thursday evening and was a very successful function. There were present fully 500 business associates and employees and excellent music for dancing was provided by the Peter Pan orchestra. On behalf of the company the guests were welcomed in a happy little speech by Mr. E. Bridgens, and Mr. L. Lindsay, on behalf of the staff, and Mr. H. Edwards, for the business houses, in return thanked the company. Novelties were distributed among the guests, causing much amusement and adding greatly to the brightness of the evening. Arrangements were made for three separate sittings at supper.
