CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday Knocked down by a motor-car aB they attempted to crpss Madras Street last evening, two women and a four-year-old boy suffered injuries that necessitated their removal to hospital. The injured vere Mrs. Turner, of Dormer Street, yho suffered head injuries, Mrs. Ben y, of West port, abrasions, bruises and shock, and her £our-year-old son, Desmond Berry, abrasions and shock. The boy was discharged from hospital after treatment. The women are reported to be progressing satisfactorily.
