THE EAST COAST ROUTE ANOTHER CONFERENCE CALLED [BY TKMSOR.VPH —OWN COItRESPONDENT] GISBORNE, Thursday A further conference of district railway delegates will he held next week to discuss the Government's terms for the disposal of the uncompleted .East Coast line to private financial interests. The conference will also debate an offer made by a New Zealand firm of financial agents on hshalf of a London group of investors with the object of securing an inspection of the route by an expert now in Australia. The Mayor of Glsborne, Mr. Jackson, to-day communicated with the Mayors of Wairoa, Napier and Hastings requesting that the conference should take place at Wairoa on Tuesday.
