WINTER COMPETITIONS The winter meotincs of the Auckland Amateur Athletics Club were concluded on Saturday afternoon in the Domain, when the 75 yards sprint championship was dooided. R. Munro winning by a foot from J. 13. Prondcrgast. The five-miles cross-country steeplechase was run over nine rounds of Iho Outer Domain. Eleven started, and J. VV. Savidan won tho championship in 31m 14s, but A. G. Hill, off the 40s mark, won the handicap by over 100 yards from K. Pinsou (55«), with <T. W. Savidan (sor) 4s later. The sorint handicap was won by .T. Dunn (lijyds), the shot putting by A. _E. Sutton, and the discus throw by A. G. Hill. Results were:— 75Yds Championship.—R. Munro. 1: J. R, Prendersast. 2- C. R.
