W.E.A. MUSIC CLUB
A talk on "Music in Many Lands" was given by Mrs. W. H. at tho monthly meeting of tho W.E.A. Music Club on Saturday evening. She described her visits to the great music centres of tho world and introduced many of her personal reminiscences sinco childhood. At the conclusion of her talk Mr. Ralph Hipkins played some interesting records from his collection. , r . „ The vice-president, Miss Ida Walker, a relative and pupil of the lato Dame Nellie Melba, and a member of the Williamson-Melba Opera Company in 1928, gave somo reminiscences of the great singer.
